This is another incredibly rare signed book from the Bob Wright collection. Aileen Clayton was known as ‘Mike Morris’ when she worked in the incredibly secret ‘Y’ - Service, the branch of the RAF responsible for the interception of enemy communications received from Ultra. The book has been inscribed to Bob Wright by Aileen and she has signed it as her code name ‘Mike’. The book has been enhanced with an original pencil portrait drawing of Aileen by Steve Teasdale. This is a first edition from 1980, not long after Winterbotham wrote the first story of Ultra. Bob Wright was obviously working with Aileen during the war and he is mentioned in the acknowledgements as a major influence in the writing of the book. The book is in excellent condition.
