This large A4 format hardback book from 2009 is becoming increasingly rare to find. It describes in detail, with numerous photographs, the incredible story of Luftwaffe fighter pilot Walter Schuck. Schuck flew over 500 sorties in Me109’s and Me 262’s, finishing the war as one of the Luftwaffe’s highest scoring fighter pilots with 206 confirmed kills. Written by Schuck himself the book is a very personal and fascinating account of his war. The book has been further enhanced by a large original pencil drawing of Walter Schuck by Steve Teasdale. The drawing , mounted onto the first fly leaf, has been personally signed in pencil by Walter Schuck. The book is in mint condition.
A scarce book, highly collectable and a real one-off.
