It is rare to find a copy of this book with a dustjacket in such good condition. Dated 1955, it was the first book detailing the career of Battle of Britain veteran ace Bee Beamont. At the time of publication Beamont was an active test pilot for the Canberra and others. The book includes a specially produced bookplate bearing the original signature of Roland 'Bee' Beamont. The book is in very good condition for the age, with some browning to the page edges. The price clipped dustjacket is in excellent condition with some slight fading on the spine and some tape marks inside.
